Red Winter: The Assault (Warhammer 40k fanart)

This piece is the first part in a new project of mine dubbed 'Red Winter'. It will be a series of images detailing a brutal war between Imperial forces and various rebellious factions(some Chaos-aligned some not) on the agriworld of Ferrenult.

The conflict, as the name suggests, takes place in times of winter, a harsh one even by the standards of that volatile world. And as the frostbitten landscapes are drenched in blood(due to reasons remembered by few and cared for by even less) only one things remains certain; none shall be spared the horrors of war!
