Unfortunate sons: Born to Die (Warhammer 40k art)

The above text is just one of the various local war-chants that resounded throughout various townships and villages in the southern hemisphere of Tarkotis, as its ragtag Imperial insurgent-groups and guerillas prepared to conduct a counter-offensive against the invading Tau-forces; their first major one since the xeno enemy made planetfall.
Men of various ages were drafted by the Imperial resistance(and not all of them going willingly), with boys as young as 12 being handed lasguns and told to march in formation towards the first target of the Emperors wrath; the southern region of 'Zemiscyra'.
